Water Hauling

When working in the oilfield, there are a plethora of oilfield water trucking services that come together to ensure every last operation goes smoothly. When it comes to hauling, there are many services offered. Depending on what needs to be hauled away, different solutions are provided. On any given day it is possible to see dozens of trucks leaving an oilfield. Let’s take a look at a few of the water services offered.

Freshwater

Freshwater hauling is available not only for drinking water, but also for drilling and completions operations. We have many fresh water sources available to service anywhere in the Marcellus and Utica.

Flowback and Produced Water

Water that is produced from flowback will need to be recycled or disposed of accordingly. These disposal guidelines are mandated through state and federal regulations by DEP and EPA authorities.Most of the water will need to be transported to a well so proper fracturing measures can be taken. When this process takes place, hundreds of thousands of gallons need delivered to ensure the well can be drilled appropriately.

While every well is different, many require 2–4 million gallons of water for the process to be completed. This is as high as 95,000 barrels of water per day needIng delivery. Oilfield water trucking services are responsible for the safe transport of this water to the actual oilfield as well.

While 15–70 percent of the water will flow back to the surface, it will need re-treated to be used again on the well site, or it may be deemed too contaminated to be used again. In all stages of the operation, trucking services will need to ensure the water is hauled away quickly and securely while remaining safe.

Brine Water

Even though brine is closely monitored by DEP and EPA governing bodies, we ensure compliance throughout the hauling process. It’s our responsibility to make sure brine processing plants, injection wells and impoundments are approved facilities not just by our customers but through state and federal agencies as well.

Leachate and Pit Water

Our hauling services don’t just serve the oil field. We haul leachate from landfills to water treatment facilities. Through great ethical conduct we’ve expanded into other industries allowing us to branch out, hauling both leachate and pit water to approved facilities.
